In this site, we plan on providing you up-to-date information from our Pine Mountain Property Owners Association, Inc. in North Carolina Firewise Committee.
In November 2016, our neighbor South Mountains State Park had a wildfire that consumed over 6,000 acres and was at our backdoor. Our local fire and rescue departments were working day and night to protect the park and wildlife as much as possible and provide the residents of Pine Mountain with as much help and assistance as possible – teaching us how to protect our homes.
The wildfire sparked an deep interest in all community neighbors and with the help of Eric Muecke, Urban Forestry Specialist and Firewise Program Assistant an Assessment Book containing a ton of information is now available to all property owners of Pine Mountain POA, NC.
